The pulpit was incorporated in 1878. It is a stately wrought iron effect, in the shape of a cage with supporting legs 15 feet long, and was raised to such a level so as to give adequate view from the Gallery.
The pulpit was manufactured by Brann and Company in Birmingham
The pulpit was originally located near the front of the organ, before it’s repositioning to the back of the stage area to allow more room for performances.
