Amanda Rice in conversation with Miguel Amado

Artist Amanda Rice was born in Mayo and is based in London. She holds an MA from the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, and a BA from the Crawford College of Art and Design, Munster Technological University, Cork. Selected solo and two-person shows include Platform Arts, Belfast; 126 Gallery, Galway; and Ballina Arts Centre, County Mayo. Selected group shows include The Glucksman, Cork; VISUAL, Carlow; Rua Red, Dublin; and the 2016 edition of EVA International. She is a recipient of the Arts Council Next Generation Award.

She will be in conversation with curator Miguel Amado in a fascinating discussion about her practice and exhibition from 5pm on Friday 17 September 2021. It will be streamed on Triskel’s YouTube channel as part of Culture Night.
