Filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar takes a look at his own adolescence as well as the issue of sexual misconduct in the Catholic Church in this stylish thriller.
In 1980s Madrid two young men, Ignacio and Enrique, open up dark secrets as they revisit their early years together at a Catholic school. As they try to uncover the truth about themselves, each other and the diverse characters in the story, they realise that things and people are not as they first seen.
Pedro Almodóvar Season
For one night only on Monday 25th September, the latest work by acclaimed Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar – a short film entitled A STRANGE WAY OF LIFE – will screen in cinemas across Ireland and the UK. To mark this event, Triskel Arts Centre is proud to be not only showing this film, but to also present a selection of the director’s previous films.
