Cork World Book Fest at Triskel
Triskel and Cork City Library have partnered on Cork World Book Fest since 2005 when Liam Ronayne (then City Librarian) and Ann Luttrell (then Triskel Literature Officer) decided to hold the very first Cork Book Day & Night.
The fest is now enjoying its 22nd edition and we’re delighted to be part of its continued growth. There are seven wonderful events happening here for the fest and you’re all welcome so make sure to get your tickets.
- Friday 24 April at 3pm: This Is Not a Cookbook: Roxana Manouchehri in conversation with Grace Neville
- Friday 24 April at 6.30pm: Spoken Stories: Cathy Sweeney and Danielle McLaughlin in conversation with Clíodhna Ní Anluain/Exclusive Live Recording for RTÉ Radio
- Friday 24 April at 8pm: Continental Riffs: Louis de Paor and Halyna Kruk /Exclusive Live Recording for RTÉ Radio
- Saturday 25 April at 10.30am: Story Slam Cork Fighting Words
- Saturday 25 April at 12.30pm: Quite Simply, How Do We Live?: Dr Harry Barry and Oona Frawley in conversation with PJ Coogan
- Saturday 25 April at 2pm: Roddy Doyle in Conversation with Paul McVeigh
- Saturday 25 April at 7.30pm: Dán na Caillí: Song of the Hagwitch with Laoighseach Ní Choistealbha, Dairena Ní Chinnéide, Eithne Ní Ghallchobhair, Síle Denvir, Margaret Lonergan with MC Liam Carson
