Chloé Nagle & the Centre Culturel Irlandais

Congratulations to our House Sound Engineer Chloé Nagle who is heading to Paris next month for a residency at Centre Culturel Irlandais!

Chloé is “beyond excited and honoured” to take up this residency, something she has wanted to do for some time. As part of her residency, Chloé will be mixing their 30 minute lunchtime concerts in the courtyard with a new Irish artist every week. So make sure to keep an eye on CCI’s socials for more.

More About Chloé

Chloé Nagle is a freelance Front of House Sound Engineer. After graduating with an Honours degree in languages in UCC where she was an active member of the Live Music Society and played guitar, piano and sang in a band, her determination to pursue a career in music led her to CSN Cork’s Music, Management and Sound course from which she graduated with eight distinctions.

Chloé first earned her sound engineering stripes at Cork’s legendary Lobby Bar as well as Secret Garden recording studio before going on to work for myriad bands, venues and production companies over the years. Chloé works with all musical styles and is equally happy behind the mixing desk in small folk clubs, large venues such as Vicar Street and muddy Electric Picnic festival fields.

Career highlights include national and international tours with numerous bands (Mick Flannery, Lisa O’Neill, Altan, Scullion, Beoga, Notify, Slide, Jerry Fish, White Horse Guitar Club), engineering for Presidential State visit concerts in Athens, Berlin and The Royal Albert Hall in London as well as working on TV shows such as RTE broadcast Other Voices.

Chloé has been resident FOH Sound Engineer for Other Voices since 2010, Touring Engineer with Mick Flannery since 2008 and House Sound Engineer at Triskel Christchurch in Cork since 2015. She also teaches both studio and live sound on the course where she first fell in love with audio and is immensely proud of the numerous past students she has taught, many of whom now work alongside her in the industry.
