Creative Workshops for Cruinniú na nÓg
Sample-Studios and Triskel have joined forces to bring you a full day of hands-on creative workshops for children and their families exploring filmmaking, music production, illustration, and printmaking. Each session is led by a professional artist and is designed to inspire young people to develop new skills, express themselves creatively, and explore the possibilities of a career in the arts.
All materials are provided for the sessions that take place in either Triskel Sample Project Space or Triskel Christchurch. Sessions can be booked individually or all together.
Workshops are suitable for 8-12 year olds. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop.
Tickets will be released at 12 noon on Monday 1 June 2026.

10:00 – 11:30 | Triskel Sample Project Space
Explore the art of storytelling through photography. Participants will learn the basics of photography and get involved in designing a collective Playspace using photographs.
Music Production with Stevie G
12:00 – 13:30 | Triskel Christchurch
Dive into music creation using digital tools and production techniques. Students will experiment with beats, loops, and sound design, and learn how music producers shape their ideas into finished tracks.
Textiles with Sarah Buckley
14:00 – 15:30 | Triskel Christchurch
Explore the creative possibilities of textile art in this hands-on workshop. Participants will experiment with fabrics, textures, and simple hand-stitching techniques to create their own unique textile piece.
Some basic sewing knowledge is recommended.
Print with Aoife Claffey
16:00 – 17:30 | Triskel Sample Project Space
Discover the creative possibilities of printmaking. Participants will explore various print techniques, experiment with textures and patterns, and produce their own portrait print.
