The 2026 Baltic Film Festival has arrived! Join us for a two-day spectacle here in Triskel Art Centre for a showcase of incredible films from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania respectively.
Kicking off the Baltic Film Festival on Friday 17 April, we have Maria’s Silence, a powerful historical drama on the true story of Maria Leiko, an actress forced to choose between those she loves, and the totalitarian regime under Stalin.
On Saturday 18 April, we show Goodbye Soviet Union/Hüvasti NSVL! This film tells the story of a young boy, Johannes, growing up with his single mother and grandparents in the backdrop of the fall of the USSR.
Closing our Baltic Film Festival showings is Five And a Half Love Stories in An Apartment In Vilnius, a collection of intertwined stories, told through the eyes of an old AirBnB apartment.
