Triskel Gets to Know … Martin Finn

Martin Finn is Cork Service Development Manager with ADHD Ireland and is organising ADHD and the Arts, a special event on Thursday 4 April to celebrate the creative power of ADHD. We got to know him a little better!

  • If you had to delete all but 3 apps on your smartphone, which would you keep? Judging by Screen Time it would be Chrome, YouTube and Mail!
  • Have you ever met your idol or someone you revere greatly? No, and so I get to maintain my fantasy that they are all superhuman.
  • If you could choose any person from history to be your imaginary friend, who would it be and why? Benjamin Franklin. He was probably the most interesting person that ever lived.
  • Last TV show you binge-watched: The Sopranos. I was very late to the party but loved it!
  • Name one song that describes your life: ‘Going The Distance’ – montage from Rocky
  • Best live performance you ever experienced: I saw Billy Joel and Elton John in concert together and that was amazing. Billy won in my opinion for sheer exuberance!
  • Favourite cinema treat: Peanut M&Ms of course.
  • Would you rather always be slightly late or super early? I’ve done the slightly late thing once too often and it’s not pleasant.
  • You can have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life, what is it? Patience.
  • What is your favourite dessert? Vanilla ice cream (it gets a bad rap).
