Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
18

From the Mind of David Lynch

135 mins – United States / France 1992
Director: David Lynch
Starring: Sheryl Lee, Ray Wise and Mädchen Amick

The corpse of a young girl is dragged from Washington’s Wind River. It’s a murder and the hunt for the killer leads to an idyllic corner of small time America. But all is not what it seems in Twin Peaks.

The tiny community is riddled with some unseen evil and, though beset by bizarre omens, FBI Agent Dale Cooper vows to reveal the truth. But even as he battles with the demons that haunt Twin Peaks, for the town’s most-tormented soul, the blonde and beautiful Laura Palmer, the net of destruction is already closing in.

Reuniting the cast of crew from the cult television series, this mesmerising tale of love, fear and lust chronicles the last seven days in the life of Laura and lays bare the birth of the nightmare.

From the Mind of David Lynch

David Lynch, one of the most original, singular and unique artists of American cinema and television in the last fifty years, sadly died last year. The term ‘Lynchian’ is used to describe something that has a dreamlike quality with an air of mystery or menace. His work was also laced with a wonderfully off-the-wall sense of humour. Films like TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME and MULHOLLAND DRIVE demonstrate this. 20th January 2026 would have been his 80th birthday. To mark this event and to celebrate his legacy, Triskel Arts Centre will screen four of his finest feature length films. See info »

The quintessential Lynch. Prepare to be confused/ intrigued/ frustrated/ disturbed/ hooked.
