Experience the best in Independent and world film in a fully digital cinema based in the unique surroundings of a stunningly refurbished 1700s neo-classical church. Triskel Arts Centre in the heart of Cork city screens two titles each week with additional special events, film strands such as Experimental Film, Horror and monthly Shorts.
The Irish Film Classification Office (IFCO) certifies each film according to the following system, and Triskel Arts Centre is obliged by law to only admit customers who meet the age criteria set by the classification of each film. Valid ID may be required.
- G: Suitable for all, including children of a school going age.
- PG: Generally suitable for children aged 8 and over.
- 12A: Suitable for people aged 12 and over, or for younger people if accompanied by a responsible adult.
- 15A: Suitable for people aged 15 and over, or for younger people if accompanied by a responsible adult.
- 16: Suitable only for people aged 16 and above. Younger people may not be admitted by law.
- 18: Suitable only for persons aged 18 and above. Younger people may not be admitted by law.
- NC: Films marked “NC” (Not Certified) have not been granted certification by the Irish Film Classification Office. Ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older and they require a Triskel Cinema Membership, which may be purchased on an annual or per film basis.

- Card is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

- Full Membership can be purchased online. All other memberships need to be obtained at our Box Office. Please note, we do not process memberships in the 30 minutes prior to a screening.
- Presentation of membership card and valid ID needed to purchase tickets and enter auditorium.
- Membership prices does not extend to satellite broadcasting events.
- Membership price can be extended to one guest per screening (full annual membership only).
- One free ticket earned for every eight (full annual membership only).
- Use of recording devices is forbidden.
- Tickets for films rated ’12A’ and ’15A’ can be purchased for persons under the ages of 12 and 15 only if accompanied by an adult guardian (of 18 years or older).

Hollywood legend James Dean died on 30th September 1955 in a tragic car accident, ending a promising acting career and leaving behind a handful of classic films. This year marks the 70th anniversary of Dean’s death and in tribute to the actor Triskel Arts Centre screens two of his best movies: EAST OF EDEN (1955), directed by Elia Kazan, and REBEL WITHOUT A RAUSE (1955), directed by Nicholas Ray.
