Triskel Arts Centre is delighted to be taking part in the 3rd European Cinema Night, which takes place across the EU during 16-20 November 2020. Europa Cinemas has joined forces with the MEDIA Programme of the European Commission to celebrate the richness and diversity of European cinema and to raise audience awareness of how MEDIA supports Europe’s film industry and culture.
For the occasion, we present Danish trans and family drama A Perfectly Normal Family. Emma (11) has a perfectly normal family until one day it turns out her dad, Thomas (Mikkel Følsgaard, Oscar nominee A Royal Affair and Land of Mine), is transgender. As Thomas becomes Agnete, both father and daughter struggle to hold on to what they had, while accepting that everything has changed.
This special online screening of A Perfectly Normal Family (presented as part of European Cinema Night) is free but ticketed – tickets will be available until 6pm on Thursday 19 November 2020.
Presented by access>CINEMA and Triskel Arts Centre with Modern Films.
