75 mins – Ireland 2017 – Documentary – Dir: Katrina Costello
Featuring: Patrick McCormack and John Joe Conway

The Burren in County Clare plays host to Mesolithic tombs, famine villages and small rocky fields. But when the government decides to build a tourist centre in the area, some farmers unite and resist. While the main ‘character’ is Patrick McCormack, who owns Fr Ted’s house, the documentary explores more universal themes: it is a story of life, love, family, grief, of commitment and of the struggles of modern day life, which invites the viewer to follow in mindful meditation, to take a journey into the self and exam the relationship between man and landscape, between tradition and spirit, between body and soul.
