Josh Ritter

Posted by jamiehan in News September 06, 2013  |  No Comments

Following a string of outdoor, full-band rock and roll shows this summer (including Nowlan Park, Kilkenny with Bruce Springsteen), Josh Ritter returns to Ireland this December for a set of intimate, seated acoustic shows which will see him work in a trio format. Given that Josh’s latest album the Beast In It’s Tracks was acclaimed across the board for it’s intimate and stripped down sound, there’s probably never been a better time to see Josh in an acoustic format.

He plays Triskel Christchurch on Wed 4 December 2013.

Twisted Celluloid – Citadel

Posted by jamiehan in News February 19, 2013  |  No Comments

Announcement: Due to circumstances beyond our control, Citadel will not be screened at the Twisted Celluloid Film Festival. It is no longer available from the distributor who were due to supply the film, and as a result, we have had to pull it from the programme.

In place of Citadel we will be screening Rob Zombie’s House Of 1000 Corpses. This 10th anniversary screening of Zombie’s feature film debut makes a nice addition to the programme since we will be also screening his latest work The Lords Of Salem.

We deeply regret not being able to screen Citadel, because it is a good film and we want to support Irish filmmaking. We hope it can be shown at a later date.
